♥ 686 pages to go

They say confession is good for the soul, so here goes.  Forgive me fellow book clubbers, the blog has taken over my life and I haven’t started reading the current books.  There is a possibility probability I will turn up when we next meet  not having finished the books.  (I am in two book clubs so that’s a double dose of confession.)

So  readers, if you spot a distracted looking female, holed up in the corner of a coffee shop, madly thumbing through the pages of a book, while simultaneously mainlining  on caffeine – that will be moi.  Please wave.

Bye for now, I need to start reading.  (Note to self: Do not, repeat do not turn on the television tonight.)

Reading:  The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot and Mistaken by Neil Jordan.

It’s not odd for real life (family, work, other interests) to pull you away from reading now and again. It’s healthy, really.
