The No-Kitchen Diet and a Blogging Break

IMG_0680

Ugh, ugh, and ugh to the power of infinity: I have put on weight over the last twelve months. Not a hideously dramatic amount but enough nonetheless to ensure that many of my clothes feel uncomfortably tight when I wear them.

So, not exactly a mind melting crisis then but still and all I would like the excess pounds to melt away like an ice-cube in boiling water. Thankfully the ‘cure’ is to hand as I don’t have a kitchen at the moment. Ergo I have been in rabbit-munching-its-greens mode and eating lots of salads and gobbling down a cauldron of fruit these past few weeks and, I have to admit, the occasional take-away.

The reason I don’t have a kitchen is that I decided to remove the flimsy dividing wall between the kitchen and the living room to make the ground floor of my small house open plan. And as that meant reconfiguring the kitchen layout I decided to go for broke and replace the existing units. The preparatory building work is finished: the only reason I am kitchen-less, until the end of June, is that I moronically failed to factor in the lead time for the delivery of the kitchen units. However on a cloud every silver lining etc note the upside is I am already slightly slimmer

JAA has been in stop start mode for the past six or so months with me posting just occasionally. I have decided to take a break and come back again in mid-July hopefully with my blogging mojo revitalised.

Whoever you are and wherever you live in the world I am so pleased that you read my blog and thank you for so doing: I hope you will click back on in six weeks time.

With many good wishes from
B at Just Add Attitude

  7. Hang on while I count 6 weeks on my calendar! 🙂 Many thanks for still visiting me. I didn’t think it was possible to eat as much as I did in Norfolk so I might have to knock down my kitchen- or is that a little drastic? 🙂
