In a little short of two weeks, from now, I start my full-time photography course. My feelings about my forthcoming studies are dual in that I am eagerly anticipating them and yet am apprehensive about my ability to wrap my brain around the theoretical aspects of photography.

Killruddery House and Garden
In May when I visited the rare and special plant fair, held on the Killruddery estate, I made the impulsive decision to pay €70 for annual membership of Killruddery which gives me free access to the gardens .

Out and About in Somerset
On my recent trip to England I travelled outwards by ferry to Holyhead and returned via a different port, Fishguard. I did this so I could see more of the English countryside and specifically to spend some time in Somerset, a county I hardly know at all.

Natural Beauty: Coconut Oil as a Moisturiser
I have been using coconut oil to cook with for some time, not for ever, but I did start to use it before it became as widely available as it is now. These days it’s as easy to source as ice cream by the seaside on a hot summer’s day as it has slipped into the river of mainstream and is sold in supermarkets.
