To mark their 40th anniversary, The Crafts Council of Ireland have designated 2011 as the Year of Craft. The Royal Hibernian Academy have decided to celebrate this by opening the retail space at its city centre premises (15 Ely Place, Dublin 2) as a Pop-Up Shop, to showcase the best upcoming Irish craft workers and designers. Genius idea. The pop up shop is open from the 4th March to the 30th July this year. The ‘tenants’ will be changing over every so often.
